Sahara Hotel & Casino
Hotel Information: The Sahara opened in 1952 and was one of the first hotel casinos in Las Vegas. Compact for easy access to all facilities and attractions, the hotel draws guests seeking less noise and the slower pace of a different era combined with modern amenities such as a business center and wireless Internet access (surcharges).
Amenity highlights: A sundeck, palm trees, and fountains surround the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel’s 5,000-square-foot seasonal pool. Next to the pool, a large spa tub is set beneath a filigreed wrought-iron dome. Cabana rentalas, and bar and towel services are both available.
Thrill-seekers and NASCAR fans covet the simulated race cars and indoor roller coaster, while nostalgia buffs head for the Congo Room to hear the Platters, Coasters, Marvelettes, and other legendary musical performers.
Brightened by colorful fabrics, spacious guestrooms at the four-tower Sahara Las Vegas Hotel and Casino include dining tables and two chairs, and vanity areas with desks and mirrors.
Guests with laptops have access to wireless Internet access (surcharge), and Internet access is also available through the television (surcharge).
Other amenities include pay movies, electronic check-out, and voice mail. Refrigerators are available on request (surcharge).
